North Korea may be capable of sarin-loaded missile attack: Japan
Sarin has been used in deadly domestic attacks in Japan, notably in 1995 when the Aum Supreme Truth cult released it in the Tokyo subway.

Tokyo: North Korea may have the capacity to launch a warhead loaded with sarin nerve gas, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Thursday, as tensions rise over the country's missile and nuclear programmes.
Sarin has been used in deadly domestic attacks in Japan, notably in 1995 when the Aum Supreme Truth cult released it in the Tokyo subway killing 13 people and sickening 6,000 others.
"There is a possibility that North Korea is already capable of delivering (via missile) a warhead containing sarin," Abe told a parliamentary diplomacy and defence committee, referring to the poison nerve agent.
His remarks were reported by public broadcaster NHK and leading national newspapers. Abe did not elaborate or say where he obtained the information, according to the reports.
Tensions on the Korean peninsula have spiked in recent days amid concerns that Pyongyang could be on the verge of executing its sixth nuclear test and as a US aircraft carrier-led strike group heads to the region.
Originally conceived as a pesticide, sarin was used by Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein's regime to gas thousands of Kurds in the northern town of Halabja in 1988.
The US believes the Syrian government employed a sarin-like nerve agent in a deadly attack in the country's northwest last week. The Aum Supreme Truth cult also used the nerve agent in a 1994 attack in the Japanese city of Matsumoto, killing seven.Sarin has been used in deadly domestic attacks in Japan, notably in 1995 when the Aum Supreme Truth cult released it in the Tokyo subway.

CBN builds entrepreneural centre at MOUAU to encourage students to learn trade and develop skills
UMUAHIA-IN a bid to ensure that its graduates learn
trades different from their programmes of study, the
management of Michael Okpara Univerity of Agriculture
has pledged to make maximum use of the multi-million
naira Centre for Entrepreneurship Development block built
for them by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Already, the university has made it compulsory for second
year students to engage in one trade at the centre and
from indications it is paying off for the students. Some of
the students displayed their various products last week
during the official hand over of the centre to the university
by the CBN.
Some students displaying their products
The products ranged from clothing materials, shoes and
other leather works such as sandals, slippers, bags;
perfumes, air fresheners, insecticides, ippers, bread, cake,
chin-chin and custard to students of engineering repairing
generators and vehicle engines. According to CBN, the
centre is meant to serve all tertiary institutions in the
South East geo-political zone.
Developing skills and talents
Speaking at the ceremony, Governor of the Central Bank
of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, who was represented by
a deputy director in CBN, Mr. Oluwole Owoeye, appealed
to students in Abia State and the entire South East zone
to take advantage of the opportunity provided for them by
the centre to develop their skills and talents.
Emefiele who announced that the project was part of
corporate and social responsibility of CBN explained that
the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) was
designed to develop skills for Small and Medium Scale
Enterprises. “In Nigeria we realized that for now, there is
dearth of skills. People don’t have relevant skills. So the
essence of this thing is for people to develop skills in
various areas, so that they can be independent on their
own.
“This one is the project the bank has developed for the
South East zone. My appeal is for Abia and the entire
Southeast to leverage and take advantage of this centre,
come and develop their skills. We know that Aba is well
known for a lot of SMEs, so I want to use this medium to
appeal to the people in Aba, its environs and entire Abia to
come and patronize this centre, so that we will build up
their skills.
“We have shoe, slippers, bag and sandals making unit,
bread, cake, chin-chin and custard marking unit, clothing
and textile unit, auto machanic and generator repairs,
insecticide, air freshener and perfume unit, among others
in this center. So people from the South East zone should
come in and build their skills so that Nigeria will be a
better place for all of us”, the CBN boss said.
Entrepreneurship education and training
In his address, the University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof.
Francis Otunta, represented by Prof. Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe,
commended the CBN for conceiving the idea and
disclosed that the Centre for Entrepreneurship
Development (CED) was established in the institution in
October 2011 in compliance with the directive of the
Federal Government of Nigeria and National Universities
Commission.
According to him, the vision of CED was to make MOUAU
a foremost institution, especially the university of
agriculture which provides comprehensive and highly
accessible quality entrepreneurship education and
training in Nigeria.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Director, Centre for
Entrepreneurship, MOUAU, Prof. Oji Onu Ekumankama
commended the CBN for reaffirming interest in CED and
in promoting entrepreneurial education and training in the
university, and described the project as a big morale
booster for CED whose mission was to provide facilities
and expertise that would propel the growth and
development of SMEs through sustainable quality,
effective and dynamic entrepreneurial coaching and
assistance.

7 outrageously funny reasons Nigerians eat meat last
You may have noticed that most Nigerians do not
touch their meat till they have finished their food.
They usually save it like they were saving the best
for the last.
What is so special about the meat that it is
saved for last?www.bentlevento.blogspot.com brings you some reasons why
Nigerians eat meat last. be the reason for this?
1. Upbringing
A lot of people were brought up that way. Some
children were taught by their mothers not to eat
their meat until they had finished the food. In
some homes, you dare not touch your meat if
you have not finished your food or you would
be scolded. So, most children grew up into
adulthood with that habit of eating meat last.
2. Habit
Eating meat last is a habit that has stuck over
time. For some people, it is bad habit to eat
your meat before you finish your food.3. Motivation
For some people, the meat is an encouragement
to finish the food. Some people cannot even eat
food that has no meat. Once the meat is gone,
some people lose appetite and just stop eating
the food.
Most Nigerians save their meat till they are done with their
meal
4. Save the best for the last
Some people value their meat so much and
believe it should be reserved for the last. To
them, the meat is the trophy they get for
finishing the food.
5. It is embarrassing
How would you feel if you ate your meat at the
beginning and a visitor walks in? The visitor
will just assume you cannot afford meat and
that is why you are eating without meat.
6. It makes the food unappealing
A meatless plate makes the food look
unappealing. There are people who will never
eat food that has no meat. The meat on top of
the plate is like the icing on top of the cake.
7. Enough time to savour the meat
The meat can be hard sometimes and eating it
in between meals would take time. Pausing in
between your meal to spend a considerable time
battling a piece of meat can make you lose your
appetite.
Traders in the video below say government is
not responsible for inflation.

Charlie Murphy has died after a battle with leukemia
The 'Chappelle's Show' star
died from leukemia on
Wednesday..
Charlie Murphy, Chappelle's Show star and Eddie Murphy's
older brother, has died, publicist Domenick Nati told The
Hollywood Reporter. He was 57.
Murphy died from leukemia on Wednesday, said Nati.
"Our hearts are heavy with the loss today of our son,
brother, father, uncle and friend Charlie, The Murphy family
said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter . "Charlie filled
our family with love and laughter and there won’t be a day
that goes by that his presence will not be missed. Thank
you for the outpouring of condolences and prayers. We
respectfully ask for privacy during this time of great loss for
all of us.”
Murphy became a household name through Dave
Chappelle's Comedy Central skit show thanks to his
amazing stories of interactions with other celebrities during
the height of his brother's fame in the 1980s. The most
popular short turned into a skit about the late Rick James.
Concerning his friendship with James, Murphy once said
there were way more wild tales to tell, but they would never
had made TV.
"He went there , where I was like, 'Yo, Rick, you took the shit
too far.' And his response, 'There's no such place.
Darkness, let's to the abyss!'" Murphy once said on a
Chappelle's Show outtake. "I don't want to go the the abyss,
man. Rick wants to go to the abyss.
In fact, he dwells in the
abyss. And he wants company sometimes, and for some
reason, he likes to reach out for me. And I'm not with it.
And that's when we would end up tussling."
The comedian's Twitter account sent a final note Tuesday
evening that read: "One to Sleep On: Release the past to rest
as deeply as possible."
"You'll be missed but never forgotten," fellow Chappelle's
Show actor and good friend Donnell Rawlings said in an
Instagram post featuring an image together. "Charlie was a
lion. It's time for Darkness to see the light."
Murphy also appeared in numerous movies, TV shows and
even lent his voice to some video games.
The actor and comedian was on record as saying he was a
hothead when he worked as a bodyguard for his brother.
He said he loved Eddie so much, and thought he was so
funny, that he would pick fights with people who did not
laugh at his brother's jokes when he performed.
"It was to the point that, if I went to a show and you were
the hater in the audience that was like, 'That shit wasn't
funny' POW! I'm jamming you, man," Murphy once said.
"Because the shit was funny. There was 10,000 people
laughing, and you that one joker that wanna try and
squeeze a lemon. F--- you. I don't even want you to be
there. And I took it as a personal crusade, and they were
like, 'You know what, you're a little overzealous with your
job.' So, that is how I ended up not doing that anymore."
Murphy is also remembered for his amazing tale about the
legendary musician, Prince, which was made into a skit for
Chappelle's Show. Murphy said he and friends played
basketball against Prince and his entourage one night in the
1980s. Murphy said he was shocked how good Prince was
at the game. Afterward, Prince made everyone pancakes.
Prince was on record saying the story was true, even the
breakfast.
"We just lost one of the funniest most real brothers of all
time. Charlie Murphy RIP," Chris Rock wrote on Twitter.
Mogul Russell Simmons tweeted: "Just came out of
meditation and learned that one of my friends and my
biggest comedy idol passed. Damn I loved Charlie
Murphy."
"Terribly saddened ... Charlie," comedian Paul Mooney
wrote.

6. EXPERIENCED AND
TRUSTWORTHY OWNERS
The founders of the company are well-
experienced NETWORKERS themselves!
Leadership is by example, so the popular
saying goes, and that’s why the company is
referred to as a pro-distributorship network
marketing company. The owners know how to;
distribute the products, explain the products
components and unravel the aimglobal
marketing plan, and to control the affairs of
the company. Because of the leadership
qualities of the board of directors of the
company, there is no overpaying.
Experienced Board of Directors: L-R,
The company’s Chief Marketing Officer John
Raymond Asperin (left); President, Dr. Eduardo
Cabantog (middle); Chief Finance Officer of AIM
Global, Engineer Francis Miguel (right) on the
stage at one of the company’s event.
The people behind the company are simple,
friendly, see-able, touch-able, and you can
even eat with them on the same table without
feeling inferior because success speaks
through their attitude. You can see them live
and direct in the office and sometimes they
usually conduct seminars and training at most
of AIM GLOBAL office addresses across the
world . You can talk to them and you can have
them as your personal mentor for growth in
the business and your other businesses. They
care about the distributors, who I happen to be
one of, because they know how to be a good
distributor for a good MLM company.
7. GLOBAL EXPANSION AND
LIMITLESS BUSINESS ACTIVITIES
Anywhere I am across the world, I can take a
branch of my business there with the system
of AIM GLOBAL. Alliance In Motion system is
NOT limited only to Nigerians. It is legally
spreading to the whole world, and as I’m
writing this, the good news of Alliance In
Motion Global has already been spread across
to over 200+ countries of the world. As at this
moment, AIM GLOBAL has offices in several
African countries such as; Ghana, Togo,
Uganda, Kenya and soon to be in Rwanda,
Cameroon, and Cote D’Ivoire; Europe such as
Canada; Asia such as Brunel, Singapore, Hong
Kong, Taiwan, Dubai, South Korea, Kuwait just
to name but a few of them. There are many
other Alliance In Motion offices that will soon
be opened in other countries like France,
Rwanda, Indonesia, South Africa, and India
soon. This is a proof that the company is not
just locally but internationally. They kept going
stronger every minute, and they aren’t
relenting in their efforts to expand globally.
8. TOP-NOTCH MARKETING PLAN THAT ENCOURAGE HIGHER
PARTICIPATION & RETURNS ON
INVESTMENTS
Truth they say lasts forever (and the person at
the receiving end may or may not know if
you’re lying confidently but YOU KNOW
YOURSELF my brother!), just as Mark Twain
puts it, “if you tell the truth always, you don’t
have to remember anything because you’re
saying the truth.”
The AIM Global compensation plan is not only
limited to Binary. It is the combinations of
Hybrid Binary; Binary, Unilevel and Stair-
step compensation plan into a one solitary
marketing plan. So in just 1 effort, you will
earn 3 times.
Aldous Huxley said in the episode 2 of his
Complete Essays which aired within the year
1926 up till 1929 and I quote that “facts do not
cease to exist because they are ignored.”
There are many networking companies out
there, but only AIM has the combinations of
the 3 marketing plans for paying out. You can
decide to confirm the line above by yourself. I
have never seen a company that stays glued
to this same rule, allowing you to earn from
binary while unilevel and stair step bonuses
are still waiting for you as add-on to the
matching bonuses. If you found any
somewhere, please call my attention to it.
9. SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
MAKES IT MORE FUTURISTIC
THAN ‘NOW-ALISTIC’!
One of the very scintillating factors behind
AIM GLOBAL exponential success in the
Philippines and Africa despite high level past
failures and experiences by distributors is
impact of strategic partnership which has
spearheaded the company above the fold. The
company offered Scholarship opportunity to
its partners up to 100% discounts on tuition
fees. And the good thing is, it is transferable
should in case you don’t want to use it. This is
subject to school and courses availability.
Imagine yourself getting paid for distributing
the company’s line of products while you are
enjoying tuition-free first class education at
any of the partner’s schools and colleges of
the world.
May I ask, did your formal or present company
offer you scholarship grants?
10. ALIVE FOUNDATION – CHARITY
RUNS IN THE SYSTEM
Charity runs in the vein of the Board of
Directors of Alliance In Motion! Quote me and
quote me well, I said everything about AIM is
focused on charitable living; giving and
sharing good health and wellness. Aside from
what we are familiar and reckon with, AIM
also has its sisters’ charity organization
headed by the wife of the president of the
company, Dr. Connie Cabantog.
The uniqueness of AIM makes it people’s
choice – not just an ordinary MLM company
that cares only for money – but also sharing
and caring for less privileged people around
the world. This reminds me, during the 3rd
year anniversary of the company in Nigeria,
the second day of the event marked the
flagging-off of the Alive Foundation presence
in Nigeria. The event was graced by
distributors across the country visiting several
places in Lagos to minister to school children
and less privileges.
What’s worth more than living for others?
Imagine yourself being a means of livelihood
to thousands or more across the globe simply
by partnering with a well respected company
like AIM. They are fond of charity works; AIM
through ALIVE FOUNDATION is helping poor
people NATIONWIDE by offering relief
materials to the needy. This tells much why
the company is growing at a rocket speed and
lots of blessings and abundance are rolling in
day by day.
11. GLOBAL ACCEPTANCE
When considering aim global ranking amongst
its peers around the world, you’ll agree with
me that you are on to a big deal. The
company has been leading the pack for more
than three to four years on the Business For
Homes global ranking for Top Direct Selling
MLM Company, Top MLM compensation plan
and Top Direct Selling CEO of the year and
many others. Looking at AIM Global rankings
alone, one would first want to say “I want to
join aim global immediately”, but consider
other factors above or below too to make your
decision. Hardly will you see a Philippines
based startup business being wildly accepted
everywhere if they are not doing great when
you put all the factors in place (the high level
of poverty and challenges in the country). But
the fact is, AIM Global trough its company
marketing plan and excellent product
distribution network has changed that image
lately.
11. ITS LEGITIMACY & LEGALITY –
NO TAX EVASION RECORD FOR
DISTRIBUTORS
In about my ten years of experience in
network marketing industry, I’ve never seen a
company so loyal and law-abiding as AIM.
They are on top of the game when it comes to
putting the government in the know about
“every little details” . Hardly can you tell how
much many other companies out there
generates and pay to the Federal and State
governments based on output and inflow, not
to talk of been accountable for each of their
distributors’.
As a member of Alliance In Motion Global,
you are not only a law-abiding citizen of
Nigeria, or any country of the world where
you’re operating from, but you are as well,
regularly fulfilling your duties in paying
promptly.
In fact, let me shock you!
The only reason why you’d not pay your tax to
the government as a distributor and partner of
alliance in motion is if you decided not to
encash your earnings for life which is not
possible. And the good thing about this is that
every little detail is reported in your data
tracking center for perusal and future
purposes. The percentage is 5% and you’re
sure of being a loyal citizen of Nigeria.
Would You Love to Travel to USA, UK,
Canada or Europe without being rejected at
the embassy?
If you say YES, then join AIMGLOBAL because
your tax clearance document is just around
the corner upon request!
Attend the NDO training at any of the
company offices to understand more about
taking part.
Conclusion
If you candidly consider many of these
reasons why AIMGLOBAL still remains the
best; including the facts, figures and results
available on public domains, you will agree
with me that AIM is not just incredible
network marketing company but excellent.
Excellent in the area of; high quality product
delivery, topnotch compensation plan (award
winning compensation plan), exemplary
leadership, strategic partnership across the
world which aided its speedy growth and
expansion globally, legitimacy, and compliance
with all federal and state laws in fulfilling its
duty as a reputable tax-paying company in
any nation it is operating from.
I bet you’ll agree with me that this company is
just too much!
That’s just it, these are just few of the
reasons why I joined and stayed with AIM
GLOBAL. NOT all MLM businesses are strong
and longer-lasting. AIM GLOBAL is
superbly STRONG and going stronger every
minute of the day and will last longer, which I
am so much sure of! So come and FLY with
us if you found all my ramblings helpful.
WITH PROVEN RECORDS
AIM Global is proven and well established
company among its competitors – you can
consult Google for proof . It was founded in
March 2006 by three amazing young
networkers who were formerly top-earners in
their respective MLM companies; Dr. Eduardo
Cabantog, John Raymond Asperin, and
Francis Miguel. Taking you aback, AIM
GLOBAL is nine straight years in business and
yet, they have never for once failed to pay the
commissions of every distributor DAILY AS
PROMISED!
2. HIGH QUALITY AND EXCELLENT
PRODUCTS LINE
AIM Global products are top-class and most
efficacious of food supplements products you
can found out there. They aren’t just an
ordinary supplement products – they are
excellent products that gives you result –
value for money! Produced by Nature’s Way, a
world-class supplement manufacturing
company originated from United States of
America. These products are proven effective
at reasonable price. Therefore the reorders are
increasing day to day because they are
efficacious food supplements and are highly
consumable by anyone from pregnancy to
adult age. AIM global products are excellent
and beyond words the best for most of their
categories. You just need to have a taste of
them someday. But if you want them, you can
buy AIM GLOBAL products from our store and
get special gifts (exclusively from me)!
3. EXCLUSIVITY OF PRODUCTS
These amazing Nature’s Way products
marketed by AIM GLOBAL are exclusively
produced for the company. You cannot buy
any of these aim global food supplements
from your leading food and health stores
except through the distributors of the
company or by joining the distribution
network .
If you eventually found one on the
shelf, you better run!
Why? They may be fake products!
AIM GLOBAL pride itself with its excellent
distribution networks across the world by
paying these excellent distributors very well.
The concept of its distribution network is
person-to-person distribution which is built on
relationship unlike other production
distribution methods popularly utilized by non-
MLM companies out there.
4. HIGHLY INNOVATIVE
AIMGlobal has never for once rest on their
laurels or past achievements – they kept on
learning and improving by staying on the
trends concerning health and wellness in
application to latest discoveries – improving
day by day. In 2015 alone, the company will
be launching new line of products that would
help people get rid of several health
challenges . One of the new product lines are
iProtect 247 and Care Leaf Thermal Patch and
some yet to be announced.
5. TRANSPARENT TECHNOLOGY
AND LEADERSHIP SYSTEM
Because you have online Data Tracking Center
(also known as DTC) in place where you can
monitor all activities including your;
recruitment, group recruitment and reorders,
anywhere at the comfort of your mobile
devices or tablets. You can see your points,
commissions and encashment in real-time.
Nobody can steal your money from your
account.
You can easily monitor team leader’s growth
and know where to focus your effort in
providing help for maximizing results for
team’s benefits.
Gone are the days of requesting for print-outs
of your account statement through the help of
your Upline or Sponsor in MLM again or
bestowing all the rights of your account to
anyone for any reason – we are living in the
21st century dear friend!

Kenenisa Bekele up close with KweséSports: I want to break the world record
KweséSports caught up with Kenenisa Bekele and his
coach Mersha Asrat at a local hotel in the
central business district of Addis Ababa.
Bekele remains the most accomplished world cross-
country runner in history with six long-course (12km)
and five short-course (4km) titles to his name.
Kwesé Free Sports will have LIVE and exclusive
coverage of the Milano City Marathon this Sunday, 2
April from 10:00 (CAT).
To find out how and where
you can watch it, download the new Kwesé Android
app at Google Play , or the iOS version at the App
Store !
The 34-year-old is also the current holder of the
world and Olympic records in the 5,000m and
10,000m event. He has been crowned triple Olympic
gold medallist, five-time world championship
medallist and also second-fastest man in an eligible
marathon course.
The legendary Ethiopian has won the most prestigious
medals from cross-country, track and now to road
where he has reaffirmed his superiority and dominance.
Just six months ago, he reignited the thirst of many
athletic fans and bookmakers – the race to beat the
two-hour mark. Bekele went close to Dennis
Kimetto’s 2.02:57 time, which he missed by six
seconds , at the same venue in Berlin and with the
Brandenburg Gate as an imposing backdrop.
It was another case of so close, yet so far, as he
smashed his previous personal best by two minutes
and sealed the thrilling closing stages, underlined by a
battle of the ages between himself and second-placed
finisher Wilson Kipsang .
These last twelve months have been viewed as the
phase that the world record could take a tumble.
“I didn’t do it in Dubai but this year or the next, all I
want to do is to break the world record,” Bekele said.
Precisely three athletes have gone close to breaking
the world marathon record since last year: Eliud
Kipchoge , Bekele and Kipsang have inched closer to
what has been widely regarded as the human limit.
Kipchoge, who endorsed his own credentials with a
time of 2.03:05 last year in London – a lifetime
best – saw Bekele slash his time by two seconds
(2.03:03) a few months later in September in Berlin
where Kipsang was second with 2:03:13.
Kipsang begun his new season in Tokyo with a
warning, shattering the all comers record by
cementing his legendary status with fourth sub-2:04
finish as he won in 2.03.58. This pattern points to
one thing – it’s just a matter of when, rather than if,
the barrier set by Kimetto will be breached.
Dubai was earmarked as the next location at the
attempt to lower the time, but a fall that caused a calf
injury to end Bekele’s efforts before his race to beat
the clock had even started.
His interest now is on a star-studded London
marathon next month.
“Yes, after experiencing a minor injury in Dubai when I
fell down in the opening stages, I have managed to
recover fully and believe I will achieve a good result in
London.
“The race will offer good competition but you never
know what the other elite participants will bring to the
table, but personally I’m preparing well and after we
will see what is served up.
“Dubai was strange, I didn’t expect that the start line
would be so narrow and crammed up and when they
restarted the shotgun twice or thrice, it threw me off
mentally with confusion reigning in on everyone in it.
“When the fun runners are mixed with the
professional ones and pushing each other becomes
the order in such small spaces, it was an unexpected
occasion and difficult for me to come back after the
fall due to the imbalance felt in the body. It was very
tough, but the weather and pacemakers were perfect
for the job.
“Of course, it was not such a strong race; if I didn’t
fall down, I would have won the race easily, even if I
could not have broken the world record on the
course. It wasn’t difficult for me to grab the honours,”
Bekele admitted.
His demeanour showed a determined and focused
man with his sights on a even much bigger target
going forward. When asked what a star-studded
London field might push him to do, he responded
diplomatically.
“[It] depends on the weather conditions and
atmosphere there, but of course I want to run a fast
time and do better. I’m preparing myself well and
after, we will see what happens next. London is not
an easy place for timing – it has a very challenging
course, strong field and competitors. I can’t commit
to break the record but can vouch to do my best.”
However, the sensation and anticipation which has
grappled masses across the world is heightened as
science, and even technology, explore the possibility
of turning conceptions into reality where a breaking of
the sub-2-hour time is concerned. And the
assignment of the involved stakeholders like Bekele
has gathered momentum.
The Ethiopian is part of a sub-2-hour project run by
co-founder Yannis Pitsiladis, professor of sport and
exercise science at the University of Brighton. What
are Bekele’s thoughts on a project that, when
launched, sought $30-million to get rolling?
“You know, there is a little bit of confusion when it
comes to the two projects. The former was created by
professor Yannis Pitsiladis based in the UK, a
scientist, and his goal was to help athletes run faster
and improve their overall performance.
“It doesn’t matter if I am a Nike athlete. It is a
strange thing [that] I’m not included in Breaking2 and
now I am working with professor Yannis. They have a
camp for sub-2 in Eldoret, a place where they
discover and nurture talent for newcomers, offer
nutrition, physio and other aspects of training
routines. And in Ethiopia they are found in my camp
in Sululta. I’m very happy to be working with them
because they helped and are helping me to improve
my time. I’m happy with the project, I am a
beneficiary of it and we will see what happens in
future.
“Professor Yannis is always behind every
hardworking athlete in the entire project in terms of
advising as well as guiding the athletes. I hope he will
achieve something in future, sometimes there is
difficulty in budget where he did face challenges, but
we hope some companies will step forward to help
him solve that.
“We have seen improvement even recently. Kipsang
ran course record in Tokyo, so this is the value of his
project and improving by over one minute in a course
record is great. I am looking forward to more of what
this project has to offer.”
With the launch of the Breaking2 project by Nike late
last year, a trio of big names were introduced as
well – Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge , alongside
double Boston Marathon champion Lelisa Desisa of
Ethiopia and Eritrea’s world record half-marathon
holder Zersenay Tadese.
When asked about his thoughts on it, he differentiated
the duo:
“It’s difficult to answer this question because as far
as I know the sub-2-hour project is always with lots
of athletes, and not just with a few athletes like the
counterpart. It is more inclusive with athletes that
have different kit sponsors and doesn’t matter the
company. The target was to help athletes on how
they can reach maximum levels and find something
better and new. Sub-two is involved in that kind of
thinking and it’s not business or selling shoes or
sports equipment, it is all about helping athletes
reach maximum levels.”
He described his successful transition from track to
road as tough, while hailing Kipchoge, who seems to
have excelled at it.
“To leave track to come to road, talent is very
important. The talent I have as an elite athlete helped
me to achieve good results on track and switching to
road was hard and different.
“Coming into this stage I am in, I found Eliud, who
had achieved better in it than [I have] on the road.
And even before he became an Olympic champion, he
had already won major marathons.
“It has been a difficult journey because the training
routine is tedious, running 42 kilometres on a hard
surface sometimes makes you suffer injury and you
have health problems. And it’s not the same as track
where you need speed, work out [and] it’s very short.
[For the] marathon, you train for longer and at the end
you have a different result which you didn’t target, but
I want to achieve more while I am still at it.”

Olympics, and his disappointment shows in every
word.
coach Mersha Asrat at a local hotel in the
central business district of Addis Ababa.
Bekele remains the most accomplished world cross-
country runner in history with six long-course (12km)
and five short-course (4km) titles to his name.

8 unbelievable things you didn't know you could do with your smartphone
The technological advancement has gone as far as
to offer us lots of possibilities and a vast
functionality for our devices. It’s true that very
often the games and apps we install are doing
nothing but stealing our time, but there are some
apps that are worth our attention and that can
greatly ease our routine life. So take a couple of
minutes of your time and read about them now!
Use every piece of functionality your device can
offer and enjoy every moment of your life with
1. Help cure cancer
It is unbelievable but your smartphone can
actually help you fight cancer and other hard-
to-cure diseases. Using a free app called
‘Samsung Power Sleep’ , one can leverage the
computational power of the mobile device for
the cause. The software analyzes data at night,
while connected to a charger, and then uploads
the results to help researchers in their anti-
cancer studies. HTC's ‘Power To Give’ app
works in a similar way, providing the necessary
analysis for various medical, environmental,
and scientific projects.
2. Sound hound
For those who literally cannot live without good
music a day, this great app will definitely come
in handy. Especially if you like to constantly
refresh the list of your tracks. SoundHoud not
only helps track down the songs you enjoy but
cannot identify, but its lets you do it in a variety
of cool ways. To find the song and the
information about it, you should simply hold
your phone up to a speaker OR poorly sing a
song, and be sure the app will recognize the
song! That’s crazy, isn’t it? Once a song is
identified, you can listen to the track online,
download it, share it with your friend on social
networks, check out the lyrics and album art,
and much more, which makes it an amazing
tool for music lovers.
3. Measure your heart rate
Back in the day, you would hold two fingers to
the artery in your neck, count the heartbeats to
the time on your wristwatch. Now you need nor
a watch nor any math skills, all you need is a
fitband or an Apple Watch with already
installed heart rate function in it. OR you can
simply install the Instant Heart Rate app. To use
it, simply touch the screen with your finger and
the phone’s camera will scan your blood flow to
calculate your pulse rate.
4. Identify literally anything
You might not believe in magic and it’s not one,
but Mobile Mouse Pro comes pretty close. This
app can literally transform your smartphone
into a remote mouse or keyboard. The app uses
the accelerometer in-built in your phone to
enable you wave it in the air and move the
mouse pointer on your computer screen.
Moreover, you can use your phone’s screen as a
touch pad or call up the on-screen keyboard to
type in some text. Make sure you install a
special client software on your computer in
order to make the app work.

6. Google your phone if you lose it
Now you don’t have to spend any extra minute
to wonder around your home looking for where
you put your smartphone . You can simply
Google it! Type "find my phone" into Google on
a computer, tablet or laptop and get a ping and
show you where it is. For this, you will have to
activate an Android Device Manager, which you
can visit online or download an app for. In the
Manager, you should add your Google account
to your phone and activate the option to see
your device's location in Android Device
Manager.
7. Access your phone through a friend's phone
No worries if you have forgotten your phone at
home or somewhere else. Now you can easily
access your messages, photos, and other
information from your friend’s device by simply
logging into it as a guest user. You can also
share your device with other people by simply
adding users and setting the rights indicating
the information they are and aren’t allowed to
see. The app is available only on Android
phones.
8. Jiji App
For the hopeless shopaholics or just those who
cannot live a day without purchasing anything
new, it is important to have this same source of
products assortment right in the pocket. Or
installed on the phone, to be precise. Jiji App is
a great application developed to help you with
it. Using Jiji App, you can not only make
purchases of new and used things, but you can
get rid of your own old stuff and sell it in a
couple of clicks.

Kwesé TV to bring the 2018 Fifa World Cup to Africa
Africa’s newest trusted source for the best in sports
programming, Kwesé, has again managed to secure
the best in sports rights for its viewers by adding the
2018 Fifa World Cup and the Fifa Confederations Cup
2017 to its already impressive roster.
As the world’s best compete for football’s most
prestigious title, and living legends like Neymar,
Messi, Ronaldo and Toure compete for their nations’
pride, Kwesé will give Africa a front-row seat. Will
Germany retain top honours or will 2018 be the year
when an African nation hoists the trophy for the first
time?
Whatever the outcome, a record number of African
sports fans will be able to catch all the action LIVE on
Kwesé.
The broadcaster has secured exclusive free-to-air
(FTA) rights for sub-Saharan Africa (excluding South
Africa). Kwesé will broadcast the tournaments
through its pan-African FTA channel Kwesé Free
Sports (KFS), currently Africa’s largest FTA channel,
which boasts a potential audience in excess of 100-
million.
African viewers who would otherwise not have seen
football’s greatest showcase will be able to view it
live on KFS!
In addition to its exclusive FTA rights, Kwesé has also
secured non-exclusive Pay-TV rights for sub-Saharan
Africa (excluding South Africa). Kwesé’s broadcasting
rights will include coverage on all Kwesé platforms,
including TV online and mobile platforms.
“There is no doubt that the Fifa World Cup is a
highlight for sports fans all over the globe and Africa
is home to some of the game’s biggest fans. We had
to have these major sporting events on our
platforms.
“With exclusive rights to broadcast the tournament
free-to-air, we are staying true to our intention to
deliver the best sporting programming to as many
people as possible across the continent,” said Joseph
Hundah, President and Chief Executive Officer
of Econet Media.
“The exclusivity of our FTA rights for the 2018 Fifa
World Cup and the Fifa Confederations Cup 2017
means Kwesé is the only platform on the continent
licensed to bring live action from these two iconic
events free of charge. We will be reaching even larger
numbers by bringing this content to people who
would otherwise not be able to afford it on pay
platforms.”
“Fifa has decided to award media rights to Econet
Media because we trust in their professionalism and
capacity to provide a high-quality viewing experience
through the Kwesé network.
“In Econet Media we believe to have found a reliable
partner exploring new distribution paths, particularly
on the digital side, working with Econet Media’s
growing free-to-air network Kwesé Free Sports, as
well as established broadcasters in the region, to give
millions of fans an unforgettable experience of the
2017 and 2018 Fifa events,” said FIFA Chief
Commercial Officer Philippe Le Floc’h.
As part of this deal fans will also be able to watch
the Fifa U20 World Cup 2017, Fifa U17 World Cup
2017, Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup 2017, Fifa U17
Women’s World Cup 2018 and Fifa U20 Women’s
World Cup 2018 on all Kwesé platforms, including
